"The Intellectual" Green Personalities

What Was Found From This Case Study Page 1

Something I noticed about both studies was the fact they were both single and showed signs of perfectionism. I had touch on this subject already when discussing the blue personalityso I will not repeat myself, but I will take this in a different direction; can we be happy if we only accept things that are perfect in our lives? When I asked interviewee about marriage he stated, "he didn't have the time" and when I asked if he thought people were honest he stated, "as if it matters".

"Unrealistic expectations are connected to issues of power and control. We might embrace an underlying assumption, which says, "People must act the way I want them to, or else I have no use for them."

Unrealistic Expectations In Relationships By: James P. Krehbiel

Both interviewees stated that they disliked their jobs, although their employers appreciated them both for their excellence. By continuing to work in an environment that offer little stimulation both interviewees have a danger of falling into an apathetic state.

Green personalities are known for their deep-rooted behaviors so if they fall into a negative spiral they may follow it to the very end. The second interviewee already had signs of falling into a negative rut. His stated over and over that he was happy and in control of his life, thought he also stated that everything came so naturally to everyone else and if he longs to be better.

We need to have motivation to drive us forward."Emotions, by nature, lose their power when we understand them. The natural pattern of human emotion is peaks and valleys. When we start a new project we're filled with tremendous optimism, but this surge of energy is that it inevitably ends, which may cause a loss of confidence. The combination of fatigue, scant results, and an awareness of impending adversity make us want to give up."

Overcoming a Loss of Motivation

By giving up, he stays in this state of ease and may never stress his life enough to reach new levels of excellence. Deeply rooted in our actions is a good thing, but we need to be sure that the actions that we are rooted in are positive.
