1st Case Study of a "Blue Personality" Page 1
Background Information
This case study involves a 32 to 37 year old single male. He is dating, although not deeply committed to anyone at this point. When asked of his viewpoint on marriage he replied that he was willing to marry, but has yet to find someone that he could truly connect with. "Finding someone who understands me is very important, I want someone who is on my side, but can keep a level of self-reliance. I have no interest in running some else's life, I have enough trouble running my own." He commented on his hectic lifestyle and not knowing where to even find the time to date. I agreed with him, he had far to much going on in his life; his schedule only allowed him a couple hours of sleep a day.
Education and Attitude
He stated that he was successful in college, but had far more troubles in high school. "There were to many distractions to be productive, it took awhile for me to figure out what I needed in life." His motivations are his own, as he didn't always get the support that he needed. He stated that there were times that "negative influences" gave him a "never surrender" attitude and a focal point to succeed. Success wasn't expected of him; success was something he needed to fight for.
