Mississippi Values

Mississippi State came to Interact Communication in need of a quality set of marketing communication pieces in order to inform the public and secure a referendum to get needed money. In Mississippi one out of four residence do not have a high school education and efforts are needed to fix this problem.

For the main paperwork I created a blue and black arch and a faded textbox, which covered a "subliminal" values tag. The main purpose was to persuade the reader to take action and motivate a change that Mississippi desperately needed.

The brochure was a favorite piece of mine featuring a complex style of graphics aimed to strike at the hearts of intended market. I created a torn paper look for the cover along with a blue tinted picture overlay to stand out from the black and white images.

In the end the project was successful and Mississippi State received the funds they requested. It was a very long project that needed to be completed in a very short time frame. Jobs like this one are extra rewarding in the end because of all the effort everyone put into it to make it a success!
