Thinking With Lines

The Thinking With Lines brochure was a personal project I enjoyed creating. As an artist, or anyone in any creative field needs to remember, it is important to sketch out the things you have rumbling around in you head. This quick rambling of pen to paper is a direct link from inner thoughts to a recorded idea.
A sketch isn't necessarily imagery; it can be written words describing a rhythm of thought. Sketching is personal and deeply expressive it can be as close to a visual/verbal statement that we can make.
Every good work begins with planning and forethought. Think of a sketch as a blue print for a bright idea. In the end I entered and won a best of show award from the 2005 Wisconsin Concepts Juried Art Show for this project.
